Business meetings



1. In calling someone you should announce your name and the organisation that you're associated with.


2. If calling personally, state the issue in question, e.g. name, calling in relation to a type-x insurance policy.


3. If needing to meet in person, ask for a suitable time. You might suggest a different time if

	the time suggested is not convienient for yourself.


4. It's polite for the person requesting the meeting to travel to the other person's office or other building facility.


5. meetings are usually held for 45 minutes to 1 hour.


6. Try to arrive no more than 5 minutes late or early.


7. When reaching the reception desk at the front of the building or on the appropriate floor, 

	announce your name and the name of the person that you're there to see.
